Vice President of Renji Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of Urology Department, Standing Committee Member of Urology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Chairman of Urology Branch of Shanghai Medical Association. He has long been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of urinary system tumors and translational medical research. He was one of the earliest doctors in China to perform robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery and has profound expertise in surgical treatment of prostate cancer, renal cancer, and bladder cancer. He has systematically and deeply carried out research on the molecular mechanism and targeted intervention of prostate cancer progression, metastasis, and drug resistance. He has successively been awarded the Shanghai Leading Talent, Shanghai Excellent Academic Leader, Shanghai Craftsman, and the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award of the Ministry of Education. As the first completer, he has won the First Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. In recent years, he has published more than 200 papers in Nature Commun, Eur Urol, J Extracell Vesicles, ACS Nano, Cell Rep, etc., including 16 papers with IF>10. He has been authorized with 26 patents. He has participated in the compilation of 8 Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer in China. He has initiated and presided over multiple domestic and international multicenter clinical trials.
